Once fall rolls around, I’m all hands on deck when it comes to incorporating autumn hues. I still consider this fall transitional, perfect for this on and off September weather. This day it happened to be 85 degrees during the day, and then dropped down to 56 at night! Welcome to Wisconsin.
I find that combining purple and gold together is the perfect recipe for a subtle fall look when you get sick of wearing orange 24/7, or people start to constantly ask if your favorite holiday is Halloween (Don’t get me wrong, I wear my fair share of orange, it’s just nice to mix it up sometimes).
Unfortunately I bought this skirt at Old Navy 2 years ago and they don’t usually bring back old prints so it’s no longer available. However, this season they have this suede skirt that is really cute and still comes in two great fall colors I’m obsessed with! But with three dogs I’m always partial to patterns, they hide hair better. Although I’m forever grateful for the person who invented the lint roller. That little guy is a life saver on any given day.
The scarf and Steve Madden wristlet clutch were both purchased at Nordstrom Rack. They have a great selection of scarves and a clearance section for purses. If you’ve ever thought about becoming a Nordstrom Rewards member, the credit card is definitely worth investing in! Especially if you’re like me where you go in looking for one thing, but end up leaving with more than that, sometimes things you didn’t even know you needed LOL.
Also, can I get a halleluiah for cool dry weather?! I really, REALLY love having frizz free hair days. I actually don’t use hair spray on the curled parts, but that’s a tutorial for another time!
This is one of many fall looks to come, so stay posted and of course happy pumpkin spice season! XO
